I was raised in a small farming community near Swift Current Saskatchewan with a strong sense of family and community. This upbringing instilled in me a love for having a close unit of family and friends where you are always there for one another. I approach my clients with the same set of values I was raised with, where I want them to feel cared for and trust that I will always listen to their needs.
I took my Registered Nurses training in Calgary Alberta and from there travelled and lived in many places, Including Kauai Hawaii, and Bend Oregon.
When I moved to Vernon in 1989 I knew I had found my home. I continued my nursing career here at first in the hospital but then venturing out to homecare which I genuinely loved.
When I decided that it was time for a change, I found there were many similarities with my job as a longterm care assessor and my role as a realtor. I am still meeting with clients and families in their homes, assessing their needs, and helping them move forward.
This was an easy transition for me for other reasons as well. I am used to working hard and always having to learn new things to stay on top of changes. I am used to taking complexity and making it as simple as possible. Also to paying attention to details and of course my communication skills are strong. I am used to negotiating for clients and resolving issues in a harmonious fashion. For me it is all about helping others and putting my whole heart into whatever I am presently working on.
My clients will tell you that I do go above and beyond-I am always willing to go that extra mile to see that things go as smoothly as possible for everyone who puts their trust in me.
My first year at Century21 where I worked for 3 years I was awarded Rookie of the year which was a real honour.
I am now a realtor with Rai Realty in Kelowna. I continue to mainly provide service in Vernon and surrounding area as that is where my expertise is. I am happy to meet you for coffee anytime to discuss your realty needs.
As you can see by my photos, I love animals. I have a small dog and 2 very large cats. Everyone gets along great!
I love going for walks/hikes with my friends and of course my dog. Sharing times with friends-often potlucks with a lot of laughter, watching movies, reading, making up new recipes to share, travelling and spending time in nature whether it is my own backyard or a park.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little-I look forward to getting to know you as well.
I would love to help you move forward to your new home!
